The Tomb in Turkey by Simon Brett
In my opinion there were to many cliches and not enough of a mystery. The story was weak and the characters were boring.

Hardcastle's Collector by Graham Isom
I am a lover of all British mysteries especially one's with Hardcastle. Although he can be overbearing, sarcastic and unreasonable at times he can has a soft disposition at times. His partner Detective Sergeant Charles Marriott and a young and eager Detective Constable Yardley from Hampshire police. Ihe story is set in the time period of World War 1,1917 Hampshire County is the village the murder took place in. If you like Hardcastle you will like this book also.

Backstabbing in Beaujolais by Jean-Pierre Alaux & Noel Balen
I can't seem to put down books with Benjamin and Virgile. This time they stay with Benjamin's friends a Catalan artist and his mystery writer wife. The description of the wine making region of Beaujolais is fascinating as always the investigation and finale is exciting. Wonderful story line and fine characters.

The County Guides Death in Devon by Ian Sansom
Marley is overbearing and really overshadows what happens in the storyline and the characters to me are boring.
