The Frozen Dead by Bernard Minier

Policeman Martin Servaz makes his way through and investigation that has so many twists and turns he does not know what to think. The story takes place in the cold Pyrenees Mountains on the border between France and Spain. When you begin to read this book you will become mesmerized and you won't be able to put it down. A great storyline and most interesting characters. A book you can not miss. ***I received this book from the publisher in return for an honest review****

The Reluctant Jesus by Duncan Whitehead

This book was a mixture of science fiction, fantasy and religion. The storyline revolves around Jewish architect 32 year old Seth Miller. Seth's mother tells him he is the Messiah, he does not believe her, but when God calls him on the phone he accepts his calling. He tries to work a few miracles but to no avail, actually they backfire badly. This is a fun book to read, some spots made me laugh out loud. I highly recommend this book to people no matter what genre they prefer. Bravo!!!!! ***I received this book from the author in return for and honest review*****

The Bridge of Deaths by M.C.V. Egan

This author combined mystery, history and fiction wonderfully She was trying to solve the death of her grandfather in Danish waters, right before the horrors of war took over. The amount of research that went into this book was an act of love. The way this storyline was written is magnificent and the characters are mesmerizing and intelligent. A book I would highly recommend to everyone who enjoys history and mysteries.

The Paris Lawyer by Slyvie Granotier

A young attorney from Paris, Cathrine Monsigny is hired by Myriam Villetreix who is accused of killing her elderly white husband and who married her to stop her from being deported. The village this happened in was the same one that that Catherine's mother was murdered in when she was a young child, this has haunted Catherine all her life as she was there when the murder occurred. Catherine soon discovers that she may also be able to solve her mother's murder as well as saving her client. I enjoyed the author immensely and hope there will be more books translated written by her. ***I received this book from the publisher for an honest review****

Montauk Monster by Hunter Shea

This is a true horror story. People are being murdered and then dissolving from the inside out. After seeing their friends and co workers killed two police officers take it upon themselves to investigate what is killing these people. They end up on Plum Island a place where certain research is going on. This was a well written storyline with well-developed characters. I would recommend this to people who love horror and liked to be scared and can't put the book down. ***I received this book from the publisher in return for an honest review****

They Only Come Out at Night by F.Kearney

This was mixture of mystery and horror, it had you sucked in from page one. The violence is described fully and should not be read by young children. Melissa was scared but also brave, she did not want anyone to feel sorry for her or take of her. After reading this book I won't be riding the subway anytime soon. You will never be able to guess the ending I couldn't. A great read. ***I was given this book by the publisher for an honest review*****

Stalin's Gold by Mark Ellis

This was a couldn't put down read.Poor Mr Stalin is missing some gold, so he sends people to London to find it. This all takes place during the time of the Blitz and The Battle of Britain. The book has a fine historical feeling and the plot is well thought out. His characters are intriguing, Frank Merlin is a type of hero. You feel as though all the characters are in your home with you, Wonderful book!!!! ***This book was given free in exchange for an honest review*****

Ten Lords A Leaping by C.C. Benison

This was not my favorite Father Tom Christmas installment. The story has in my opinion to much fighting amongst the characters and does not really advance the story. Father Tom seems to be smitten Lady Lucinda and the other characters are just bitter and always bickering with each other. The book was to long and drawn out.

The Murder Bird by Joanna Hines

The characters are centered around a decent plot. I liked getting to know the people of the book and was taken on a journey through the reasons Sam does not believe her mother Kristen a well known poet, killed herself. I would recommend this to people who love British mysteries. This is my first read written by Miss Hines, she is now on my new authors list. *** I received this book from the publisher for an honest review****
