Shadow Ritual by Eric Giacomatti and Jacques Ravenne

This book told the story of two secret societies, the Freemason's and the Thule, one evil and one well known. Inspector Marcus and Jade Zewinski are on the trail of some very sadistic people to try and solve the murders of many people. Then Thule date back to Germany and has some savage rituals. I hope to read the other installments of this series. It had a fine storyline and excellent characters. **This book was given to me in return for a honest review***.

The Last Sicarius by Van R Mayhall Jr.

This is the sequel to Judas the Apostle. Cloe and her son J.E. continue the quest to find the "cave of Jars" her father spoke about finding during war. They are joined by people from the Vatican and try to out run the Karik who took the place of the deceased Kolector in trying to find the cave once again in an attempt to bring down the Catholic Church. Once again a good storyline and interesting characters. **I received this book in return for an honest review***

Unhallowed Ground by Daniel MIlls

A young man Henry Feathering who lives in the late 19th century meets and falls in love with Clemency St. James. He was visiting his uncle's home, a house that was in disrepair and an extremely dark place. This was a good novella and I love the Victorian era that it was set in. ***I received this book in exchange for an honest review****

Domovoi by Peter Bergling

A wonderful fairy tale with Baltic influences about the coming of age tale of a young girl. Jennie the girl has a legacy of supernatural dealings. The book has a fine storyline and likable and magical characters. The book was short but the Russian Fairy tales were very good. ***I received this book in return for an honest review***

The Christmas Wassail by Kate Sedley

This was a cozy mystery set in 1483 and 1484, in Bristol England. This mystery and its characters and events are in the culture and atmosphere of Plantagenet England in a small village starting to celebrate a few weeks of holiday merry making. Good storyline and characters. ***I received this book in exchange for an honest review***

Easy Go by Michael Crichton

This book was written when the author was only26 years old. The storyline was about an Egyptian tomb that had never been found. The group of eclectic characters that were trying to rob it inserted some humor. This was a fun book with a strange ending. ***I received this book in return for an honest review***
