This book is about greed and how it effects each person that finds the briefcase. The briefcase was stolen and each new person that opens it finds something different. Each new finder discovers how evil the briefcase is but by then it is to late. The storyline is okay the characters could have been better but all in all it is an okay book, I received this book in return for an honest review*****

This is a story set in Scotland, someone is kidnapping young girls and leaving mutilated black swans at the scene of the crime. Policeman named John Graniger and his reporter brother Alan follow their own leads until they compare notes on some strange happenings. They travel to an alternate world and discover some strange this going on. A well written storyline and characters that had some very strange ways about them. The Pit by Vlad Vorgal

This book caught my attention from the very beginning. The three young men had the ability to capture my imagination. This was a well written story with love, friendship, courage and loyalty. The characters were great while finding themselves in a obscure and dangerous world. Wonderful writing, a must read for everyone. *** This book was received in exchange for an honest review****

Corpse Flower by Gloria Ferris

Ex-socialite Bliss Cornwall is divorced from the mayor who gave her a lousy divorce settlement, is just barely making it. So she decides to save up enough money to take her ex back to court. This is a delightful and funny cozy mystery. The plot is well written and the characters were fun and real. The Greenland Breach by Bernard Besson

This novel draws you in at page one. As the amount of characters increase the pace of the book picks up, it is at times a little hard to follow , but once the pieces start to fall into place the story starts to come together. The plot is well written and the characters could be a little more realistic. I am sure this author's previous job as a high ranked chief of intelligence in France helped him with some of the industrial espionage and politics. *** I received this book in return for an honest review***

Quoth the Raven by Jane Haddam

I enjoyed reading my first Gregor Demarkian mystery. I was really surprised by the ending, its storyline was well thought out and written, the characters were realistic and could really be found on a camus at a small town college. Father Tibor was enchanting as was Bennis. I hope to get the rest of the books in this series. I would recommend this to one and all. ***I received this book in exchange for an honest review***
